Nippers
Lake Jindabyne Junior Surf Life Saving Club aims to provide a happy, safe and fun environment
for our young members with our emphasis on swimming and surf education.
Our Nipper program caters for children U6 to U14 and provides a great opportunity for them to gain
surf safety information and skills. Many families make lifelong friends from their involvement in Nippers
and enjoy the social activities provided. There is also a competition focus for those interested in attending
the carnivals within the Far South Coast Branch. Lake Jindabyne Yabbies is very proud of our competition
results, especially when you consider we are up against some of the strongest clubs in the area.
Our children develop increased confidence in the water, they learn teamwork and leadership
skills, have fun and get fit and not to mention make great friends.
Our Thursday night seasons at the Club House are located at the Lake Jindabyne Sailing Club on
Kosciuszko Road, starting at 5.15pm. The activities include running, wading, flags, paddle boarding,
basic first aid and general surf awareness.
Everyone is invited to attend.
